Change…

Change
Isn’t something to get over
Or through
Or to endure
Through stifled tears.
Change isn’t a sudden earthquake
Or looming hurricane,
Readying to reek destruction in one terrifying sweep.
It isn’t a tsunami of death
Nor a looming volcanic ash cloud,
Obscuring the very vision from our eyes.
Instead.
Instead it is a state of being
Of growing
It is life
Fully embraced.
Transforming…
Stuck to flowing
Aimless to purposeful
Lonely to loved…
And here it is.
The real truth of change
Is that
In its essence of never remaining the same
It will lead you smoothly
- if you choose -
Back to the perfect Oneness
Of You.

Read MoreWho?
Who am I?
The question of the moment.
Who do I choose to be?
The reality of the question of the moment.
I feel like rediscovering me.
I feel like laughing out loud to a joke no-one but me can hear – in a crowded bus. I feel like throwing off my shoes, my socks, and digging my toes down into the soft, damp earth; wrinkling my nose as the squelchy sensation tickles my soul. I feel like dancing like a wild woman; locs, arms, legs flailing to a beat only I can sense.
I am a Leader. So says my Highest Self.
And I no longer doubt.
I turn and bow my head to receive the crown of Love; humbled and empowered; silenced and joyous.
And as I rise up, again. As the Queen of Queen’s, I turn.
And see.
Are you all crowned with me.
And we continue to rise; finally knowing that we have never ceased to be.
That I whisper, is who I wish to be…
simply
me…
simply
free…

Read MoreThe best graduation speech ever?
Whilst browsing the Divine Cosmos website (more about that another time), I came across this video which I just had to share…actually, I preferred to read the speech through myself but here’s the video for those who wish to watch:
And to read the full text of the speech, head over to:

(and isn’t that ‘Morbid Curiosity’ clip at the end of the article something else?)
So, what are your thoughts? Do you agree that what this young lady so eloquently and passionately spoke of, amounts to one of the best graduation speeches ever? I for one haven’t heard any other graduation speeches (I don’t remember any from my uni days…but perhaps I wasn’t applying myself at the time as my teachers so often remarked…), so yeah, for me this is up there.
Read MoreA Project in Letting Go…
Yes, the badge doesn’t lie…I’m embarking upon another Bindu-inspired challenge! This time the theme is ‘letting go’, and boy do I have much of that to do.
I have somewhat neglected my blog since it’s big relaunch back in June, but I’m back and motivated. So stay tuned.
In the meantime, you can find out more about Bindu’s Shed Project here – and remember it’s not too late to sign up if you’re ready to lose it too!
One Love ♥
